Parenting

        Your Child

    with Love

Do you ever find yourself wishing kids and teens came with an instruction manual?  These courses help us be the best parents we can be.  All of us learn the art of parenting from our families. These skills may or may not be the best way to parent your children.  These two courses cover topics like:

Toddlers - Ten-Tear-Olds

What can a parent do about:

  • Temper tantrums?
  • Whining?
  • Setting rules and limits?
  • Discipline and consequences?
  • Managing anger?
  • Chores?

Adolescents & Teens

What can a parent do about:

  • Teens and dating?
  • Drugs?
  • Teens and family responsibility?
  • Communicating with your teen?
  • Understanding teen development?
  • Peer Pressure?

Our class provides a safe place for parents to connect and share their experiences with other parents.  In addition to lecture and handouts, we involve the class in parenting exercises, such as role-play and problem solving.  We have a great location and dynamic, innovative leaders.  All this for the price of a meal ($7.50 / per person / per session).  What a great opportunity to learn more about parenting!

Our curriculum covers popular areas of concern, and we tailor each class to your needs as much as possible. There are two courses, one for kids through age 10, one for adolescents.  Classes are 90 minutes long, in a series that lasts six weeks. This is enough time for you to connect and share experiences with other parents.
